Syntax:

set ip gateway

Example:

Example:

set ip gateway none

Set Remote Config

Purpose:

Enables and disables the downloading of configuration data to the remote terminal. The
default setting is “on”, which enables the Access Navigator to automatically download
configuration settings to the remote Access Bank II over the Carrier Access FDL
management channel. This setting allows configuration changes to be sent immediately
and provides flow-through provisioning when a remote Access Bank II is installed and
powered up. When turned off, the Access Navigator will not download any
configuration data.

NOTE:

To speed up the provisioning of remote services, temporarily turn off

remote configuration downloading to the Access Bank II. When finished, turn
remote configuration on again, and the Access Navigator will download all
changes at once. Downloading to each Access Bank II can take up to one
minute. The status remote command will report “FDL tx in progress” during
transmission and “FDL in service as CA FDL” when transmission is complete.

NOTE:

Use the show remote command to display current settings in the

Access Navigator data base.

NOTE:

The set remote config command only affects your ability to write

configuration settings to the remote Access Bank II data base. You can always
use the read remote command to display the actual remote configuration
settings whenever the Access Bank II is connected to the Access Navigator via
the DS1 link and Carrier Access FDL management is selected. (See Provision
Remote Access Bank II
on

page 11-1
