Critical Alarm Status LEDs

Critical Alarm Status LEDs

A critical alarm means that a fault exists that affects more than 128 call lines. A critical alarm requires
an immediate maintenance response. No critical alarms are currently defined for the Access Navigator.

Major Alarm Status LEDs

A major alarm means that a fault exists that affects 24 or more call lines. A major alarm requires a
prompt maintenance response. Major faults include:

l

DS1 loss of signal (LOS)

l

DS1 loss of frame (LOF)

l

DS1 interface receives alarm indication signal (AIS)

l

DS1 interface receives remote alarm indication (RAI, yellow alarm)

l

DS1 Quad Framer card failed or was removed
