Set Alarms
Purpose:
Allows the user to test the Access Navigator alarm functions by manually setting a
critical, major, or minor alarm state.
NOTE:
Turning alarms on or off will produce alarm messages and log entries
stating that the alarm event was manually set or cleared by the user. Manually
set alarms are not reported over the GR-303 EOC link to the switch.
Security:
Level 2 (operator)
Syntax:
set alarms <critical|major|minor> <on|off>
Example:
set alarms major on
Lights the major alarm LED on the front panel and closes the contacts on the major
alarm relay output.
Set Autoexit
Purpose:
This command adds a settable timeout that can be enabled or disabled for each
supported CLI session. The Access Navigator can have up to three active CLI sessions
at the same time, one via RS-232 and two via Telnet. When enabled, the CLI session
will automatically expire if there is no user activity during the specified time period.
This feature enhances system security by ensuring that the session will be closed if the
user forgets to log off. To disable the feature and prevent a timeout from occurring,
enter zero as the time.
