NOTE: The following commands assume that the remote Adit is set to the factory
defaults.
Test the DS0 management channel as follows:
1. PING Adit1 IP address from the Adit Router.
2. PING Adit1 IP address from the Access Navigator.
3. PING Adit1 IP address from the management PC.
4. Telnet to Adit1 IP address from the PC to the remote Adit.
Adit CLI Commands Descriptions
set local off Sets Adit to be configured through
CLI.
set a:2 down Sets T1-2 out of service.
disconnect a Disconnects all connections to slot a
(controller).
set a:1:24 type data Sets all DS0s on T1-1 to data
signalling type.
set ipds0 assign a:1:24 Assigns DS0 24 as the IP management
channel.
set ipds0 ip address <address> <mask> Sets the DS0 management channel IP
address (Adit WAN address).
set ipds0 up Set DS0 management channel in
service.
show connect a:1 Displays connections to T1-1 of the
controller.
show ipds0 Displays configuration of the DS0
management channel.
status ipds0 Displays status (up/down) of the DS0
management channel.
