CLI Command List

Set Remote V35 DSU

Purpose:

Determines if the Access Bank II V.35 interface will respond to standard V.54 Data
Service Unit (DSU) loopcode patterns for payload loopbacks. When enabled (default
setting), the interface will respond to loopup and loopdown codes. This permits remote
testing of the V.35 data link up to the customer interface.

Security:

Level 2 (operator)

Syntax:

set remote <n> v35 dsu <off|on>

Example:

set remote 9 v35 dsu on

Set Remote V35 RxClock

Purpose:

Sets the Access Bank II V.35 interface receive clock source to internal or external.

NOTE:

Internal clock source timing is recommended. This setting prevents

data slips by synchronizing the receive timing to the T1 interface.

Security:

Level 2 (operator)

Syntax:

set remote <n> v35 rxclk <int|ext>

Example:

set remote 9 v35 rxclk int

Set Remote V35 Speed

Purpose:

Sets the DS0 data speed to either N

´

56 Kbps (7-bit words) or N

´

64 Kbps (8-bit

words), where N is the number of DS0s assigned to the V.35 interface. The V.35 port
is a synchronous interface, so both the speed and number of DS0s are required to
calculate the clock rate. For example, if four DS0s are assigned, the N

´

56 setting

produces a rate of 224 Kbps. When N

´

56 is selected, the V.35 interface inserts a zero

into the least significant bit of the DS0 octet.

Field

Description

n

DS1 number, 1 to 32.

off

Disables DSU loopcode detection.

on

Enables DSU loopcode detection.

Field

Description

n

DS1 number, 1 to 32.

int

Set to internal clock source.

ext

Set to external clock source
