Set Ethernet IP Address
Purpose:
Configures Ethernet settings for Telnet and SNMP. If you are not going to use the
Ethernet port, do not make any electrical connections to it. Ethernet functions can only
be provisioned through an RS-232 management session, since you must set up the IP
address. After establishing a Telnet session, you can change the settings.
NOTE:
If you change the IP address via Telnet, you will lose the IP
connection. The session will remain in effect for 2 hours while it times out.

valid IP address. Note that the address contains only three
periods, one between each of the four numbers. If the Ethernet
interface is not used, type
none
