Set DS1 Framing
Purpose:
Sets the DS1 framing type to D4, ESF, or SLC-96.
Switch DS1s for GR-303 use ESF. Drop DS1s to the Access Bank I/TR-08 use SLC-
96 framing. Drop DS1s to a remote Access Bank II use ESF framing, B8ZS line coding,
and CA FDL management. For Adit 600 drop DS1s, see Application Configuration
Requirements on
NOTE:
The service application affects the permissible DS1 Type, Framing,
Line Code, and FDL selections. For example, ESF is required for remote
