NOTE:

This procedure provides steps for replacing a Controller card by installing a new

Controller card and then removing the old Controller card. Because the Access Navigator
has two card slots for holding Controller cards, a Controller card be replaced without
disrupting service. First, the new Controller card is inserted into the empty card slot. The
new Controller is given two minutes to reboot and copy system settings from the old card.
Then a CLI command is used to switch the old Controller to standby so it can be removed.
