CLI Language Reference

CLI Command List

Status DS1 Performance

Purpose:

Displays current performance data for the specified DS1. The Access Navigator
accumulates DS1 performance data for the parameters described in RFC 1406 –
Definitions of Managed Objects for the DS1 and E1 Interface Types. All performance
parameters are accumulated in fifteen minute intervals. The “current” 15 minute
interval shows data collected when the command is received, and always represents an
elapsed time of less than 15 minutes. At the end of each 15 minute interval, the Access
Navigator displays the total as the “previous” 15 minute interval and computes new
totals for 1 hour and 1 day by summing previous intervals.

Each DS1 has its own interval timer (not the system clock) that controls all
measurement intervals. This timer counts from zero up to 24 hours, then rolls over and
starts at zero again. This timer is reset by a power-on reset or reset all command.
To see data for the most recent 96 intervals, see Status DS1 Performance History on

page 18-165

.

NOTE:

The clear performance command can be used to reset the

performance data for a specific DS1. When this is done, the timer for that DS1
will start at zero hours, minutes, and seconds. (See “Clear DS1 Performance”
on page 18-27.)
