System Components
Kalypso system uses its Effects Send feature to supply translation and
transformation capabilities to any keyer on any M/E.
Transform Engine features include:
• Source and Target space selection,
• 3-D Locate, Size Locate, Rotate, Spin, Locate Axis,
• Anti-alias filtering control through transform parameters,
• Aspect, Skew, Perspective,
• Post Transform,
• Global channel on each M/E and PGM PST, to which the Transform
Engine channels in that M/E can be individually assigned,
• Raster Cropping,
• E-MEM keyframe control,
• Near/Far & Front/Back, with horizontal and vertical reverse selection,
and
• Tally (performs on screen/off screen and front/back calculations to
tally only on air images).
An additional software enabled Kurl/Splits and Mirrors Transform Engine
optional feature is also available.
