Macros
Macro Menus
The Macro menus provide access to many, but not all, Kalypso system
macro functions. The Macro Menus are useful to access and use Macro reg-
isters are not available on the Main panel (registers 25 or 33 through 50). See
the separate Kalypso Reference Manual for information about the Macro
menus.
Using Macros
Delegating the Macro M/E and Keyer Row
1. Press and hold down the Macro Deleg button.
2. Press any keyer button on the keyer row of the desired M/E.
3. Release the Macro Deleg button.
Recording a Macro with the Main Panel
1. Turn on Macro record mode by pressing the Rec button.
2. Press the keyer row button of the desired macro register. Use the Shift
button to access shifted macro registers.
3. Perform the steps you wish recorded into the macro, in the order they
are to be performed, using the Main panel and/or the Menus.
4. Complete the recording by pressing the Rec button, or pressing the
keyer row macro register button.
Recording a Macro with the Main Panel Alternate Button
1. With the Macro Deleg button illuminated, hold down the delegated
M/E 1/Rec alternate macro button.
2. Press the keyer row button of the desired macro register. Use the Shift
button to access shifted macro registers.
3. Release the M/E 1/Rec alternate macro button.
4. Perform the steps you wish recorded into the macro, in the order they
are to be performed, using the Main panel and/or the Menus.
5. Complete the recording by pressing the blinking Rec button, or pressing
the blinking keyer row macro register button.
