the entire effect runs in the same time as before (three seconds). No time
is added to an effect when a keyframe is inserted on the path

Copying a Keyframe
Copying a keyframe to another location in an effect can be useful. In this
example we will use the edit cursor to create an effect that returns to its
starting point.

Begin
to go to the start of the effect (

Edit Crsr
in the Effects Edit subpanel to free the edit cursor from the
time cursor. You are now able to navigate (but not run) through the
effect without altering the work buffer.
