Section 3 — System Operation

The current state of the Image Manager is saved in the NVRAM and will be
restored after a reboot. This state includes an image whether or not it was
in cache. This allows the operator to reload the cache to its pre-shutdown
state.

Show Uncached Button

Selecting the

button:

button filters the Image Manager scrolling list to

show only images that are not in cache.

The Unload section of the Load/Unload Cache pane contains three over-
ride buttons:

button.

button unloads all selected images from cache.

show only “cached” images.

Override Filter

Output Button

Selecting the

button overrides the auto locks on images in output so

they can be unloaded from cache.

User Locked Button

Selecting the

User Locked

button overrides user locks on images in cache so

they can be unloaded from cache.

Unsaved Image Button

Selecting the

Unsaved Image

button overrides locks on unsaved captured

images in cache so they can be unloaded from cache.

CAUTION If an unsaved image is removed from the Image Manager, that image is unre-

coverable since there will no longer be any image data.
