to control those modules directly from the Kalypso system.

Manual for specific information about how to configure the Newton con-
trols. These manuals are included on the Kalypso Documentation CD, and
are available for download from the Thomson Grass Valley website.
External Device Newton Menu Description
Once configured, module parameters can be adjusted on the Kalypso
External Device Newton menu, which is accessed by touching
Extern Device ,
Newton ( Figure 241 ).

Selection of a module parameter to control is mediated though the Kalypso
source selection mechanism. By selecting a source on the currently dele-
gated Preview bus of the Kalypso’s Main panel, the source’s physical input,
and that input’s associated Newton channel controls are activated on the
Kalypso’s External Device menu.
