New Still Store Option Operation
System Overview
The redesigned Still Store is only supported in Kalypso Version 15.0 or later
and is for Kalypso HD/DUO systems only.
New Features
New Still Store features with Kalypso Version 15.0 include:
• The new Image Manager that provides centralized control of images.
• Image Server that allows the operator to load stills and clips from
external drives; laptops, removable media (USB, CD-ROM), any phys-
ical drive on a network.
• Images can now be sent to an output without being saved to disk,
including looped clips.
• Stills and clips can now be kept and edited before they are saved to
disk.
• Current Saves and Loads can now be cancelled.
• Images can be loaded directly to cache (not placed in an output first).
• Still Store environments can now be saved and transported on remov-
able media (USB, CD-ROM).
The Still Store Module
The Kalypso Still Store option module has:
• The Image Manager to manage images and the Still Store environment,
• Physical drives on the network as Image Servers,
• Cache to permit real time playback of stills and clips, and
• A built-in hard disk drive for image storage.
