Appendix B — Still Store Loader
Operations
Installing Still Store Loader on a PC
The Still Store Loader software application can be installed on a networked
PC for use with the Kalypso system. Typically Still Store Loader is installed
on a computer located in the graphics department, to allow instant down-
loads of graphics to the Kalypso Still Store system.
CAUTION It is not recommended that the new Still Store Loader be installed on Kalypso
Menu panels. To transfer stills from the Menu Panel, use the Menu applica-
tion’s file operations (copy, paste, etc.).
PC Requirements
The new Still Store Loader has been tested with Windows XP and Vista
operating systems.
Installation Procedure
The Still Store Loader application is included on the Kalypso Software CD.
1. Close any open applications.
2. Insert the Kalypso Software CD into the drive of the system on which it
will be installed and accept the license agreement.
3. When the initial Kalypso Software Update Tool screen appears, select
Still Store Loader ( Figure 310 ).
