Interfacing with Still Store
With the new Still Store Loader, the operator can interface with Still Store
to import and export files using an FTP connection. The base directory from
which Still Store Loader interfaces with Still Store is /User/; the Still Store
Loader will not be allowed above that directory level.
Exporting Files
Still Store Loader will convert files to the Still Store format when exported
from a networked PC to the Still Store hardware using an FTP connection.
If a separate key signal is defined it will also be converted and exported
with the file. See Exporting to Still Store
on page 443 for more information.
CAUTION Turning on Background Color will prevent the key signal from being created
or exported (see Background Color on page 442 ). Any transparency or black
space outside the image will used to generate the key signal.
Supported Resolutions
Only supported SD and HD resolutions can be exported to Still Store. The
supported resolutions are:
SD
• 525i with a 4x3 aspect ratio
• 625i with a 4x3 aspect ratio
HD
• 1080i @ 25Hz, 29.97Hz, and 30Hz with a 16x9 aspect ratio
• 720p @ 59.95Hz and 60Hz with a 16x9 aspect ratio
Importing Files
Files can be imported from Still Store and saved to a networked PC in the
Still Store format using the Still Store Loader (files cannot be converted
back to the original format). See Importing from Still Store
on page 444 for
more information.
