24.5 LEDs
The LED functionality when running WeOS is described in the User Guide of your
product (
section 1.5 ). Here the information on LED functionality of all WeOS
products is summarised. Note that your product may not have all LED types
listed here.
LED Status Description
ON OFF Unit has no power
GREEN All OK, no alarm condition.
RED Alarm condition, or until unit has started up.
(Alarm conditions are configurable, see
sec-
tions 24.1 - 24.3 .)
GREEN BLINK Location indicator (”Here I am!”). Activated
when connected to WeConfig Tool, or upon re-
quest from Web, or when entering the CLI con-
figuration context.
Duration of blinking: 10
seconds.
RED BLINK Location indicator (see previous item) or indi-
cation of pending cable factory reset, see
sec-
tion 7.1.3.3 .
DC1 1 OFF Unit has no power.
GREEN Power OK on DC1.
RED Power failure on DC1.
DC2 1 OFF Unit has no power.
GREEN Power OK on DC2.
RED Power failure on DC2.
AC1 OFF Unit has no power.
GREEN Power OK on AC1.
FRNT OFF FRNT disabled
GREEN FRNT OK. (See also the FRNT Error item below.)
RED FRNT Error. A focal point can detect and indi-
cate local FRNT errors (FRNT link down) as well
as FRNT errors elsewhere in the FRNT ring. A
member switch only detects and indicates lo-
cal FRNT errors (FRNT link down).
BLINK Unit configured as focal point.
RSTP OFF RSTP disabled.
