7. Enter the number (Num column in the menu) of the AT-8500 Series
switch where you want to upload the configuration file. You can specify
more than one switch at a time (for example, 2,4,5).
Note
An AT-8500 Series configuration file is only compatible with other
AT-8500 Series switches. Do not upload the file onto any other type
of enhanced stacking switch.
The following prompt is displayed:
Do you want confirmation before downloading each switch
-> [Yes/No]
8. If you answer Yes to this prompt, the management software prompts
you with a confirmation message before uploading the file to a switch.
If you answer No, the management software does not display a
confirmation prompt before uploading the file.
The management software begins the upload. A switch, after receiving
the configuration file, automatically designates it as its new active boot
configuration file and resets. After the reset is complete, the switch
operates with the parameter settings in its new configuration file.
Caution
The switch will not forward network traffic during the reset process.
This can take several minutes to complete.
