Create or Open a Project in RSLogix 5000 Software
Follow these steps to create or open a project in RSLogix 5000 software.
1.
Open RSLogix 5000 software by clicking Start> Programs> Rockwell
Software> RSLogix 5000 Enterprise Series> RSLogix 5000.
The Quick Start window displays in the RSLogix workspace.
2.
Click Open Project to open an existing project, or click New Project.
3.
If you are creating a new project, configure the controller.
a. Choose your controller and revision number.
b. Enter a unique controller name.
c. Click OK.
Configure the Network
Follow these steps to configure the network.
1.
Right-click the Ethernet Port and choose Properties.
2.
Enter the controller’s IP address and click OK.
