Use this command to set the minimum user login password length.
Syntax
set system password length characters
Parameters
Defaults
None.
Mode
Switch command, super user.
Example
This example shows how to set the minimum system password length to 8 characters:
D2(su)->set system password length 8
set system password aging
Use this command to set the number of days user passwords will remain valid before aging out, or
to disable user account password aging.
Syntax
set system password aging {days | disable}
Parameters
Defaults
None.
Mode
Switch command, super user.
characters Specifies the minimum number of characters for a user account password.
Valid values are 0 to 40.
days Specifies the number of days user passwords will remain valid before
aging out. Valid values are 1 to 365.
disable Disables password aging.
