Displaying Scrolling Screens
If the CLI screen length has been set using the set length command as described on page
3‐26
, CLI
output requiring more than one screen will display --More-- to indicate continuing screens. To
display additional screen output:
•
Press any key other than ENTER to advance the output one screen at a time.
•
Press ENTER to advance the output one line at a time.
shows how the show mac command indicates that output continues on
more than one screen.

Abbreviating and Completing Commands
The D‐Series switch allows you to abbreviate CLI commands and keywords down to the number
of characters that will allow for a unique abbreviation.
