Usage
In order for IGMP snooping to be enabled on one or all ports, it must be globally enabled on the
device using the set igmpsnooping adminmode command as described in “
” on page 13‐3, and then enabled on a port(s) using this command.

This example shows how to enable IGMP on port

set igmpsnooping groupmembershipinterval
Use this command to configure the IGMP group membership interval time for the system.
Syntax
set igmpsnooping groupmembershipinterval time
Parameters

Mode
Switch command, read‐write.
Usage
The IGMP group membership interval time sets the frequency of host‐query frame transmissions
and must be greater than the IGMP maximum response time as described in “
port‐string
Specifies one or more ports on which to enable or disable IGMP.
enable | disable
Enables or disables IGMP.
time
Specifies the IGMP group membership interval. Valid values are 2 ‐ 3600
seconds.
This value works together with the set igmpsnooping maxresponsetime
command to remove ports from an IGMP group and must be greater than
the max response time value.
