Double-click a service to see more detailed information about the service.
You can change the way the list is sorted by clicking a column heading.
Creating New Scopes in SLP DA Service
Scopes are groups of services available on the network, organized in a way that works best
for your network.
To create a new scope and add services to it:

In Server Settings, click the Network tab.

Click SLP Service and choose Show Registered Services.

Click New Scope.

Type a name for the scope and click OK.

Click New Service.

Choose the scope you just created from the pop-up menu, then type the URL of the service
you’re adding in the URL field.

Click OK.
You can also enter information about the service in the Attribute List field. If you enter
attributes, they must be in the correct format, or SLP DA service may not recognize the
service.
Registering a Service With SLP DA
You can register services available on the network with SLP DA to make them easy for users
to find.
To register a service:

In Server Settings, click the Network tab.

Click SLP Service and choose Show Registered Services.

Click New Service and choose a scope from the pop-up menu.

Type the URL of the service you’re adding in the URL field.

If you want to use an attributes list, type the attributes in the Attribute List text box.

Click OK.
Important
If you enter information about the service in the Attribute List field, make sure
the attributes are in the correct format or SLP DA may not recognize the service.
