Using Still Store Loader

9.

If not already properly selected, click the

Video

or

Key

check box in the

Image Select area.

The

Video

setting is used for downloading standard stills, and will

download the image to the video portion of a video/key still.

The

Key

setting will download the image to the key portion of a

video/key still.

10.

If desired, you can have the target device fill any empty image area
with a matte color by clicking on the Background Select

Background Matte

radio button. See Using Background Matte

on page 467

and for

instructions.

11.

The Zodiak Stillstore in the Video Processor frame on the Menu
(Facility) LAN must be identified before you can download an image
to it. If the correct device is not displayed under Network Addresses,
you need to click on the

Configure

button and identify the target. See

Selecting the Zodiak Stillstore Device

on page 460

for instructions.

CAUTION Before actually downloading an image, be sure the existing Stillstore number

that has been selected is not in use, and it is OK to replace that image. The
download process overwrites the existing image during the transfer process.

Click

OK

when all the selections are complete. This will close the Image

Transfer dialog box and begin the transfer. The Image Transfer Status
bar indicates the progress of the transfer. The time involved depends
on the size of the image.

13.

Upon a successful transfer, the message “Download completed OK”
appears. Click

OK

to close this message box.

The Zodiak Stillstore checks for downloaded stills every ten seconds.
When the system detects a newly downloaded image, it is automatically
processed and will be available about two seconds later.

Uploading an Image From Zodiak Stillstore to PC

1.

Go to the Still Store Loader Main menu.

2.

Click on the

Upload/Download

button to go to the Image Transfer dialog

box.

3.

Click on the

Upload from Still Store

radio button (

Figure 309

).
