Timeline – Path Menu
The Path category selection button at the bottom of the menu provides
access to the Interpolation Paths menu (
controls over interpolation between keyframes.

The menu is organized with Levels, Sublevels, and Path Group delegation
panes on the left, and the actual path controls on the right. Some delegation
panes scroll to access additional buttons. What appears in the Sublevels
delegation pane depends on what has been selected in the Levels pane;
what appears in the Path Group pane depends on what has been selected
in the Sublevels pane. Buttons in the delegation panes toggle on and off,
which makes it possible to choose multiple items and change the path
control parameters of all of those items simultaneously. The
Select All
and
Deselect All
buttons are used for making and clearing delegations for all the
items in that pane.
Levels selected for path control can be similar to one another, or they can
be dissimilar. Similar levels share a common sublevel architecture, while
dissimilar levels have different sublevel architectures. For example, an
M/E has several sublevels, including one for each of that M/E's buses.
When two M/E levels are chosen, they share a common sublevel architec-
ture and so the selection is considered similar. A background generator,
however, has no sublevels. Choosing a background generator and an M/E
level results in the selection of dissimilar levels. When dissimilar items are
