Matte Menu Controls
Matte Menu Controls
Use the following procedure to change matte settings in any of the Matte
menus.
1. Go to the Mattes menu by touching Matte in the Home menu.
2. Touch BKGD to bring up the Background 1 and Background 2 menu
panes. If not already selected, touch the
Base Color data pad of the
desired Background (1 or 2). Use the top three soft knobs to adjust Hue ,
Saturation , and Brightness of the base fill color.
3. Touch the Wash On button below the Background 1 Base and Wash color
data pads so its indicator illuminates to create a wash matte.
4. Touch the Wash Contro l data pad to bring up Offset , Softness , and Rotate
soft knob controls. If necessary, use the Offset and Softness knobs to make
the wash edge visible on the screen. You can also turn on the Rotate
button, and then adjust the angle of the edge using the Rotate soft knob.
5. Touch the Wash Color data pad to delegate the soft knobs on the right to
adjust Hue , Saturation , and Brightness of the wash fill color ( Figure 279 ).
