Section 4 — Menus Overview

You must define what E-MEM level group the external device will be a part
of in the E-MEM Prefs menu (see E-MEM Prefs Menu

on page 161

).

Note

This menu directly affects the Zodiak system work buffer, not the effect key-
frames themselves. Changes made to this menu must be added to keyframes
with the Main panel Insert, Modify, or Learn controls to make the changed
settings active during an effect run.

Device Pane

The Device pane on the left is a scrolling list of all configured external
devices, as described in the External Device Enables menu on

page 207

.

The name of each device is shown on the left, and its status is indicated in
the adjacent box (see Enables Device Status

on page 208

).

Timeline Device Status

These status indicators are identical to those described in Enables Device
Status

on page 208

.
