R-MEM Menu
Router Select Menu
The Router Select menu is used to select a different router source for a par-
ticular router destination, and so changes that switcher source signal on the
Zodiak system. It is also used to set router protections. The menu is
accessed by touching
R-MEM , Router Select ( Figure 157 ).

The Switcher Source pane on the left is a scrolling list of switcher sources
(only sources configured as routed Zodiak sources appear). Each button
displays the Switcher Source ID number and source name.
The box next to each source shows the names of the router source and
router destination. The currently selected switcher source on the list is
colored gold. Each switcher source also has a colored indicator showing
the protection set by the Zodiak system: green for
None , yellow for Protect ,
and red for On Air.
The Router Sources pane on the right is a scrolling list of all the available
router sources. Communication with an external routing system is
required before router sources will appear on this list. The router source
button of the currently selected switcher source is automatically selected
and colored gold.
