Create Edit Menu Position and Crop Controls
Touching the Position and Crop data pads brings up the same controls
available from the Still Store Playback menu (see
Figure 196 on page 280
and Figure 197 on page 281 ). These controls affect what is displayed on the
Still Store output and what metadata will be saved with that item.
The Record button is used to record an animation clip (either video only or
video/key). The Record button lights when material resides in the record
buffer, not while a recording is in progress. The current status of a
recording is reported in the notification area at the upper right of the menu.
Note Images that have not been saved are only held temporarily. Selecting a dif-
ferent item or changing Still Store output delegation discards unsaved
images.
The Record data pad indicates the preset duration of the record and the
record Fence parameters used to restrict the region captured. To set record
parameters, touch the Record data pad. A pane appears on the right with
clip recording controls (
Figure 200 ).

The Duration data pad and soft knob determine the duration of the
recording. The parameter value is in frames.
