Zodiak — User Manual

Section 4 — Menus Overview

Enables Device Status

Next to each device button is a status indicator, reporting the state of the
interface to that device.

A green

Avail

box indicates the device is controllable from the Zodiak

system.

A yellow

Other User

box indicates the device is responding, but is in use

by another control point and has been locked from Zodiak system con-
trol.

A red box indicates the device is not responding (

No Resp

), or is

responding but has been placed off-line (

Off Line

).

External Device Source Mapping

DPM and Editor Source mapping will map external device IDs to switcher
logical source IDs and back again for status reporting. The maps have to be
unique in both directions so the translation is deterministic and unambig-
uous. DPM and Editor mapping configuration data is saved with Suite
Prefs.
