then touching the

Up to 16 PBus triggers (0 – 15) can be associated with each external device
on the PBus. When a device is defined (Eng Setups/Ports & Devices),
names can be given to the device and each of its triggers. The actual action
performed when a particular trigger is sent is determined by the external
device. For user convenience, in Eng Setups each trigger can be given a
descriptive name.

Once the peripheral device has been defined in the Ports & Devices menu,
the device can be selected in the PBus & GPI menu to be controlled by an
E-MEM recall or test fired.

Any defined peripheral devices and their triggers are identified in the dis-
play. Touching a button in the PBus Trigger pane activates that trigger and
lights the green indicator. Pressing the

Test Trig’s

button on the right will

manually test fire any active triggers for that device.

Triggers are fired during an E-MEM recall. Select the desired trigger(s) in
the menu by touching their buttons, then learn an E-MEM register with

Misc 2

enabled (the default E-MEM level for PBus II devices). The selected

PBus triggers will be sent when that E-MEM register is recalled.
