Looping Clip Playback
Looping can be used to repeat playback of a section of material in a clip.
1.
With the clip loaded to a Still Store output and that output delegated,
touch
Show Details
, then touch the
Loop
data pad bring up the loop
controls.
2.
Using the
Jog Time
soft knob or the
Jog Forward
and
Jog Back
buttons, go
to the first frame to be looped and press
Loop To
.
3.
Go to the last frame to be looped and press
Loop From
.
4.
Set the number of repetitions of the loop with the
Count
soft knob. The
first play through is not included in this number, so for example if you
want the clip to play three times enter the number
2
. Entering any
negative value creates an endless loop.
5.
Touch
Save
to save the clip with the modifications.
Selecting Loop Points
To avoid jumps at the loop point, the original source material (a graphics
animation, for example) needs to have motion that repeats. In some cases
the entire animation is designed to loop, in which case the
Loop To
point will
match the begin point, and the
Loop From
point will match the end point. In
other cases, the animation is designed with a non-looping head and/or tail,
