Pressing

Rew

will abort any run in progress and rewinds the effect to its

beginning (if

Rev

is off) or to its end (if

Rev

is on).

Hold Inputs Button

The

Hold Inputs

button can be used to control whether E-MEM recalls will

change any of the current source selections on any Zodiak system bus
(including the Aux buses). When on, no source on any bus will change
when an E-MEM is recalled. When off, sources may change during an
E-MEM recall (if no other types of hold are in force).

Keyframe Edit Buttons

The Keyframe Edit button group in the upper left corner of the Master E-
MEM subpanel contains ten buttons for editing and navigation of key-
frames on a timeline and an

Auto Run

button for executing effects.

For an explanation of basic keyframe concepts, refer to Keyframe

on page 66

.

For an overview for using the keyframe edit and navigation controls
described here in conjunction with the Timeline menu, refer to

Basic Effect

Editing on page 381.

Clear Work Buffer Button

As an operator recalls E-MEM effects and makes changes to the panel and
menu controls, the contents of the work buffer change accordingly. If
source memory is on, the source memory settings for each source are also
updated as the settings for sources modified. The

Clear Wk Bfr

can be used to

return work buffer and source memory settings to known states. This can
be helpful when creating effects.

Work buffer and source memory values are not set to zero when they are
cleared. Instead, previously defined settings replace the current settings.
The Default Keyframe is a single group of settings defining a particular
switcher state. These settings are copied to the work buffer when the work
buffer is cleared (see Default Keyframe

on page 76

). The Default Source

Memory defines settings for each source. These settings are used when the
source memory is cleared (see Work Buffer, E-MEM, and Source Memory

on

page 77

).
