Disk Management
Like the cache, the capacity of the disk onto which Still Store material is
saved is limited. Once a disk is filled, new material will not be able to be
saved to it. If this occurs you will need to delete material from the disk.
The Still Store Playback menu has a
Delete
button that can be used to delete
an individual still or clip from the Still Store hard drive, to free up disk
space. This button also removes the item from the cache.
An entire folder of Still Store items can also be deleted from the Still Store
using the Still Store Folder browser.
1.
Touch
Still Store
to go to the Still Store menu, and access either the
Playback
or
Create Edit
menu.
2.
Touch the path data pad below the scrolling selection window in either
the Playback or Create Edit Still Store menu, or touch the Still Store
menu File Ops category selection button.
3.
Use the navigation controls to display the folder containing the items
to be deleted, then touch it so it is highlighted.
4.
Touch
Delete
. A pop up message will appear asking if you are sure.
Choose
Yes
. The folder and all its contents will be deleted from the
drive.
If you delete the DEFAULT directory, you should immediately create a
new one in exactly the same location on the Still Store C: drive. This direc-
tory is used for automatic Still Store Loader application transfers.
