Keyer Priority
Keyer Priority
Video switchers with only two keyers per bank use a simple key over, key
under mechanism to control the stacking of the keys. Only one key can be
located over the other. The Zodiak system has four keyers per M/E and
three keyers in the DSK, so more complex stacking is possible. Keys can be
placed between other keys, using key priority.
To Change the Current Keyer Priority:
1.
Go to the Keyer – Priority menu by touching the
Keyer
button in the
Home menu, then touch the
Priority
category selection button

If not already set up, turn on the desired keys and arrange them so they
overlap, observing the Program monitor. This will make the changes in
key priority visible. For demonstration purposes, you can use four
preset pattern keys.
3.
Touch the keyer you wish to move in the stack in the Current column,
then use the
Top
,
Move Up
,
Move Down
, and
Bottom
buttons on the left to
place the key in the desired location. The key priority order changes
immediately, as a cut.
