register to the specified register.

The

Lock

button locks the enabled levels of the specified register(s) or

bank(s) of registers, preventing them from being changed unless the lock is
removed.

The

Unlock

button unlocks the enabled levels of the specified register(s) or

bank(s) of registers.

The

Clear

button clears the data from the enabled levels of the specified reg-

ister(s) or bank(s).

The

specified register(s) or bank(s).

Enable Groups

Like the Enable buttons on the Master E-MEM subpanel, the buttons in the
Enable Groups pane determine what levels will be affected by the function
activated (Get, Put, etc.).

Select All

selects or deselects all the Enable buttons in the pane.

Number Keypad

The number keypad is used to enter register or bank numbers for an action,
which is completed by touching the

Enter

button. Specific instructions are

displayed at the top of the keypad.

The keypad buttons available vary, depending on the function selected.

When

is selected, the

Clear Reg (.)

button can be used to clear the

current register, like the Get • Enter Main panel keystrokes (

Figure 185

on page 263

).

When

Put

is selected, the

Next Empty (.)

button can be used to select the

next empty register, like the Put • Enter Main panel keystrokes.

When

, or

Clear Seq

is selected, the

Next ,

and

Thru -

buttons can be used to select ranges of either registers or banks, as spec-
ified by the Input Mode above. The

Cur Reg + Enter

button can also be

used to perform the function on the current register with a single key-
stroke, rather than specify the register number and press Enter
(

).
