Newton Modular Control
During this process, the NetConfig network configuration application and
a Newton Configurator plug-in are installed. The tool is accessed by
launching NetConfig and touching the Newton tab on the top menu bar
(
Figure 298 ).

The Configurator tool is used to define the functionality of Newton con-
trols by creating a Newton configuration file. The Newton configuration
establishes a one-to-one relationship of Newton channels to Zodiak phys-
ical inputs (BNC connectors on the Video Processor frame). Each Zodiak
input/Newton channel can have up to five different setups defined. A
default Newton configuration file with 96 channels (inputs) is provided
with five empty setups for each channel. On Zodiak systems the first 64
