Macro Shortcut Buttons
The PGM PST KEY M/E re-entry buttons are labeled with additional
macro capabilities (
). When macro delegation is on (
Macro
is illu-
minated), holding down one of these buttons momentarily activates that
macro mode.

While the keyer row is delegated to macro operation, holding down
M/E 1 Rec
initiates macro record mode. With the
M/E 1 Rec
button held down,
select a macro register button to record into and then release the
M/E 1 Rec
button. Perform the operations to be recorded. When done, press the
flashing
M/E 1 Rec
or macro register button to terminate the recording.
Pressing the macro register button twice and holding it down after the
second press activates macro append mode (as long as the button is held
down).
While the keyer row is delegated to macro operation and a macro record is
in progress, holding down
M/E 2 Delay
activates macro insert delay mode.
Each button on the macro delegation row has a specific delay value. The
unshifted buttons increase in value by tenths of a second. The shifted
buttons increase in value by fields.
