sFlow
displays the individual Brocade devices and the sFlow features they support.
sFlow is a system for collecting information about traffic flow patterns and quantities within and
among a set of devices. You can configure a device to perform the following tasks:
•
Sample packet flows
•
Collect packet headers from sampled packets to gather ingress and egress information on
these packets
•
Compose flow sample messages from the collected information
•
Relay messages to an external device known as a collector
Participating devices can also relay byte and packet counter data (counter samples) for ports to the
collector.
The port connected to the collector forwards sFlow packets in management VRF and default VRF.
The Brocade implementation of sFlow data collection supports AS path information in the following
types of sFlow packets:
