Master VLANs and member VLANs in a topology group
The reader is referred to Topology Groups chapter for further information on topology group
concepts and operation.
All the ring interfaces must be placed into the master vlan for the topology group. Customers
configured with member vlans inherit the configuration of the topology group master vlan and have
equivalent layer 2 connectivity across the ring.
Figure 113 shows an example.

In this example each customer has their own vlan. Customer A has vlan 30 and customer B has
vlan 40.
