Export to DVD or Blu Ray
Export to DVD or Blu Ray
EDIUS NEO projects can be exported to DVD or Blu Ray with the Burn to
Disc application. Burn to Disc allows you to create titles and chapter
menus, define menu backgrounds (including motion backgrounds) and
create menu buttons.
Accessing Burn to Disc through the Disc Burner tool allows you to write
existing Blu Ray or DVD image files to disc. See Disc Burner
on page 770 for
more information.
Sources that can be output to disc with the Burn to Disc application include
the following:
• EDIUS NEO Sequences
• MPEG2 files
• AVCHD (H.264)
Note H.264 MPEG2 Transport Stream (.m2ts extension) is not supported for Blu
Ray output.
Note The FireCoder Blu hardware encoding card is supported for H.264 encoding.
Note When exporting to DVD or Blu Ray, free space on the computer hard drive
must be at least twice as large as the size of the file to be exported.
Burn to Disc
To export a project to disc, do the following:
1. Click the Export button in the Recorder. See Figure 906 .

2. Select Burn to disc from the menu.
Note You may also select File>Export>Burn to Disc on the Preview window menu
bar or press the [SHIFT]+[F11] keys on the keyboard.
