Note
This is the only method by which Duration is set. Other methods described
below may be used for setting In and Out points.

If In, Out and Dur timecodes are not displayed in the Player window (see
) check the Show Timecode settings described in Control Settings
.

Use the TC Jump dialog to jump to a specific timecode location in the
source and set an In or Out point at that location. See
for the
various methods for setting In/Out points.
To display the TC Jump dialog shown in
, click on the Cur
timecode in the Player window. Enter the desired destination timecode
and click the
Jump
button.

While playing a clip, click the
Set In
and
Set Out
buttons on the Player
button bar. See
. Play the clip until the desired beginning
frame is reached; press the
Set In
button. Continue playing the clip until
the desired end frame is reached; click the
Set Out
button.
