The nine (9) position control buttons specify fixed anchor positions within
the specified area selection. The button positions are Upper Left, Upper
Center, Upper Right, Center Left, Center, Center Right, Lower Left, Lower
Center and Lower Right.
In the example in
, the source image has been positioned by
clicking the upper left button.
Note
Only one position is active. Selecting another position changes the active
position to the new selection.
If the Center position is selected, the display remains centered even when
the Source Crop or Stretch settings are modified. If a different position
control is selected, the position may also be modified with X, Y and Z
values.
Note
In a 3D transform, modifying the Z value modifies the size of the image by
moving it back on the Z axis (a positive value makes the image smaller and
appear farther away) or bringing it forward on the Z axis (a negative value
makes the image larger and appear closer).
The position controls also work in conjunction with the designated image
display area.
