Importing Existing Clips or Stills into the Asset Bin
Importing Still Sequences
Still sequences are consecutively numbered still image that may be treated
as a single clip. In order to be imported into EDIUS NEO as a still sequence,
the files must meet the following criteria:
•
Clips must be of the same type (e.g JPEG).
•
Clips must be consecutively numbered (e.g JPG_100, JPG_101,
JPG_102, etc.) .
•
Clips must be the same size (e.g. 2048 x 1536) and aspect ratio.
•
Clips must be stored in the same directory.
To import a series of still images into the Asset Bin as a sequence, do the fol-
lowing:

Click the
Add Files
button in the Asset Bin window. See

Add Files
button is highlighted in blue.
Note
Pressing [CTRL]+[O] on the keyboard is another way in which files can be
added to the Asset Bin.

A file Open dialog appears.

Navigate to the drive and directory in which the stills to be imported as
a sequence are stored.

Select the first file in the sequence and select the Sequence clip option.

Enter the desired Sequence name in the Name field.
