Any of the properties associated with the preset effect, including duration,
may be modified in the Properties dialog.
The duration of a preset effect may also be changed by right clicking on the
effect and selecting Duration>Transition... from the menu and entering the
desired duration in the Duration dialog shown in
Figure 583 .

Special Considerations
• Preset effects saved as clip transition or audio cross fade effect may be
applied as track transition or title mixer effects; however, no direction
information is set and the effect must be applied at the In or Out point
as desired.
• Preset effects saved as track transition or title mixer effects may be
applied as clip transition or audio cross fade effects; however the direc-
tion (In/Out) setting will be ignored.
• When using drag and drop to replace an effect that is already applied
on the Timeline, the preset effect duration is not applied.
