the clip to the cursor position or from the end of the clip to the cursor
position:

, since tracks 2VA and 1VA are both selected,
trimming from the end of the clip to the cursor position trims the clips in
both tracks that are at the cursor position.
Note
There is a gap between the trimmed clip on track 2VA and the subsequent
clip. The gap is present in order to maintain the relative positions of the clips
following the trimmed clips on both tracks.
