Importer/Exporter Settings
File Name Settings
Select the preferred file naming convention for imported audio and video
files.
•
Set File Names Automatically - Automatically names the captured files
by combining the current date, time and track number. This is the
default selection.
•
Set File Name for Base File Name and Track Name - If this option is
selected, the file name is a combination of the base name entered in the
base name field + the track name (or number if there is no name) from
the CD or DVD.
Audio Level Adjustment
Audio levels will automatically be adjusted by the amount entered in this
field. This value can be negative only and will decrease the audio level by
the specified amount. The default is 0 dB which means that audio tracks
will have no level adjustment when imported.
DVD Video Settings
File Split
Select the desired file split method:
•
At each Program - creates a separate capture file for each separate DVD
file.
•
At each Chapter - creates a separate capture file for each chapter in the
DVD file(s).
Reconstruct/Encode
•
Reconstruct Files - If some captured files cannot be played, selecting
this option may make it possible to playback captured files that were
recorded by a DVD recorder.
•
Segment Encode Files - If the Reconstruct... option above is selected,
this setting re-encodes only the necessary parts of the file.
DVD-VR Settings
File Split
Select the desired file split method:
•
At each Program - creates a separate capture file for each separate DVD-
VR file.
