Timeline Clip Operations
The section describes clip-level functions on the Timeline.
Unlink
The video and audio portions of a clip on a VA track can be separated
(unlinked) and treated as independent clips when moving, deleting, etc.
To change the group/link status of all clips on all VA tracks do the fol-
lowing:

Click the
Group/Link Mode
toggle button (highlighted in blue in
) above the Timeline Scale Controller.
Note
The Group/Link status does not affect the moving of clips on the same VA
track. Both the audio and video portions of clips on the same VA track are
moved together even if the Group/Link mode is disabled. Clips must be
unlinked individually before their video and audio channels can be moved
independently.

To unlink a specific clip, do any of the following after selecting a clip:

Right-click on the clip to be unlinked and select Link/Group>Unlink
