With the [
CTRL]
key held down, the side opposite the track point being
dragged - in this case, the left side - does not move in relation to the anchor
point. The other three sides (top, bottom and right) move toward the upper
left corner while the left side retains its position relative to the anchor point.
Of course, this would also be true if the object were scaled up as well; the
difference being that the top, left and right sides would move away from
the anchor point while the left side retains its position.
Rotation
The shape and its tracker can be rotated to any desired angle by moving the
angle adjustment control point as shown in
. The angle adjust-
ment control point is the small white circle on the larger circle which cir-
cumscribes the anchor point.
Figure 668. Mask Shape Rotation
, the angle adjustment control point can be
dragged to any desirable location inside or outside the tracker in order to
align the shape as needed. If the angle adjustment control point is moved,
the original control point remains on the anchor point circle with a straight
line connecting the two points.
Note
Holding down the [SHIFT] key while rotating the angle adjustment control
point snaps to an angle in 15-degree increments.
